Gated infrastructure sites
Utilities, substations, water and pump sites, telecom huts, and remote compounds behind a gate — power is there; backhaul often is not.
Starlink Business
Satellite WAN at the gate or pad
When there is no wire to extend
Remote WAN head-end — Peplink or Starlink, then Cambium PtP to the gate.
Gated infrastructure means power and a fence. It rarely means fiber to the gate house.
These sites are not office parks. They are a building or a pad, a gate, and a perimeter that has to be seen from somewhere an operator can reach. Peplink or Starlink Business lands as a head-end; Cambium point-to-point branches to cameras and access at the far corner.
We design for maintenance access, limited staff, and gear that has to survive outside. NDAA-compliant camera choices where required. We do not run utility construction or high-voltage work — network, cameras, and access design only.

Peplink
Cellular WAN at the gate or pad
LTE or 5G when cable will not reach
Peplink cellular
LTE or 5G at the gate or pad — you keep the router login after we commission it.

cnWave V2000
V2000
Client at the pole or outbuilding — PoE out for a camera or small switch.

G3 Intercom
UA-G3-Intercom
Video intercom at the door or gate — directory, two-way audio, and unlock through the Access hub.

What we specify
Design for how the site is used day to day.
- 01
Remote WAN head-end
Peplink cellular with InControl handoff, or Starlink Business into a router — then the same PtP design language as an office wall.
- 02
Perimeter and gate coverage
Cameras on approaches, gates, and fence lines — with analytics that reduce noise on an unmanned site.
- 03
Access at the gate
G3 Intercom at the gate call box, mag lock or operator interface, and network over PtP when the gate is far from the building — light scope, not a campus badge program.

ROI & efficiency
Gated and remote infrastructure
Utilities, pump stations, and telecom huts have power and a fence — not fiber, staff, or patience for copper theft.
- 01
Copper and equipment theft
Remote sites have been hit hard nationwide. Video-verified coverage has dropped break-ins dramatically for utilities — one documented program went from over a hundred incidents to near zero.
- 02
No building, no wire
Peplink or Starlink plus Cambium point-to-point plus cameras is the differentiator when there is nothing to extend from — coverage where infrastructure never existed.
- 03
Priority response
Video-verified alarms get treated as real events — Priority One — instead of ignored nuisance trips.
- 04
Compliance without overbuilding
NERC and similar standards reward documented physical security. Good design avoids expensive over-spec that does not survive maintenance budgets.
Ranges below come from common industry reports and owner feedback — your site, insurance carrier, and operation will differ. We size systems to the property, not to a brochure.
